During the course of numerous art classes at three separate University of Alaska campus’s I have developed a style of art belonging exclusively to me. I have grown in my ability to produce literal, figurative, and abstracted two dimensional, three dimensional, and digital artwork. I am practiced in drawing, painting, and sculpture with and without live models, stained glass, blown glass, serigraphy, etching and ceramics. My painting of "Teeth" received best in show at the U.A.S student juried art show.
Competency in Critical Thinking
Throughout my collegiate career at the University of Alaska, I have become proficient in my methods of critical thinking. I can now efficiently conceptualize, analyze, synthesize, evaluate, interpret and apply new ideas and information. I am able to approach a concept from multiple perspectives, and frames of reference, and can compare and contrast ideas and models.
